  Only "Maraş" (a city in Turkey) ice cream will sometimes be served on a plate. Regular ice cream is still served in a cone or a cup.

    Oh that's weird. I definitely have it served on a plate in one of the restaurants in Cappadocia. The best pistachio ice cream I've ever had.

      Sorry, I should have clarified that Maraş ice cream is sold everywhere, not only in Maraş. It's just the origin of the recipe.
