McCain/Lieberman almost happened in 2008.
- jeffbee 2y agoArguably it was Gore/Lieberman that was the cross-party ticket, since Lieberman was just a Republican in a trench coat.
- cheema33 2y agoAs a liberal, I thoroughly despised Lieberman. I had a much more favorable opinion of McCain. If my only two choices were McCain/Lieberman vs McCain/Palin, I would hold my nose and vote for the second.
