Don't forget, Saint Ronald I. was (allegedly) basically a potato in the latter year(s) of his presidency. So there's precedence, with such a situation.
- ianburrell 2y agoWilson had a stroke in 1919 that left him incapacitated. His wife and doctor ran the country. Nixon has a drunk. Roosevelt was in declining health before beign reelected in 1944. He knew he might have to resign early.
- sparrish 2y agoAnd just because all those things happened doesn't mean they should have, morally or ethically.
