Interesting observation. As a non-developer, what can one do to enhance coverage for these types of scenerios? Fuzz testing?
- rwmj 2y agoFuzz testing absolutely should be used whenever you parse anything.
- SoftTalker 2y agoYeah, even if you are only parsing "safe" inputs such as ones you created yourself. Other bugs and sometimes even truly random events can corrupt data.
