I would love for Rust to adopt formal runtime profiles similar to Ada: http://www.ada-auth.org/standards/22rm/html/RM-13-12.html http://www.ada-auth.org/standards/22rm/html/RM-13-12.html Rust sort of does this with no_std (https://docs.rust-embedded.org/book/intro/no-std.html https://docs.rust-embedded.org/book/intro/no-std.html) but a runtime profile could also define abort versus unwinding and other configuration.
