Have you seen the GNOME Foundation? At least the staff is mostly as far away from Nerd as you can be, it contains HR people, that is far, far worse than Nerds, when it comes to backstabbing and rumours. (I don't know why GNOME has around a dozen (full-time?) employees, managing the project. What are they even doing? Just internal politics?)
