Ok but the commercial aviation industry already has massive government regulation and oversight and yet Boeing. Something else is wrong and I dont even think it is something that even government can fix.
Add: I think this is related to the failure of the USSR. And by definition that was government everywhere.

- comrade_jk 2y agoUnder OPs proposal, the IT version of Boeing would be putting out safer planes/saferSoftware because the quality engineers would loose their certification by doing knowingly bad work or illegally bad that might cause harm. There more than a few whistleblowers willing to speak up. There's lots of red tape to get there.
- petermcneeley 2y agoBut isnt this already the case? At some point Comrade we have to realize that maybe the Soviet system doesnt need an improvement but actually needs to be destroyed.
