trying to rejoin the tech industry only made me appreciate how easy we have it compared to the rest. but when getting on the train becomes tough, it only makes getting off harder. i feel that the employers would (and does) weaponize it against our interests. it is mental labour at the end of the day for most of us, and not sure much of that would change at a macro level. the current situation does not help either, but i am content with how we are doing relative to the rest of the market.
