I am comparing this, to some extent, with Coursera. Coursera scales: a friend and his previous PhD advisor would get 40K learners on Coursera. Karpathy’s company scales in a different way because students can get an individualized learning experience. If the product is excellent they might get a hundred million customers if the price is low enough.
