Did you miss the whole first part of the article talking about how cows are getting it? Once something moves from birds to cows to people, it can pretty quickly spread among people. Just because we've only had 3 or 4 documented cases in the last year doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of more or that there isn't the possibility of a lot more.
