Ask HN: Good Examples of Personal Websites

20 points by in9 2y ago

Folks, I'm in the process of gathering some inspiration for designing my personal website. Nothing cool or fancy, I'm not a FE engineer afterall. But I'd love to see what you guys consider to be a good personal website. It could contain a blog or projects session or not, Im not sure what I want to have in mine just yet :D

I’m afraid I don’t follow your reasoning. For a list like that, what size limit would be better, in your opinion?

I don’t know which one you will choose, but I know what you can use to make it: https://github.com/turboblack/HamsterCMS https://github.com/turboblack/HamsterCMS it is multi-template, you can put a different template on each page http://web1.0hosting.net/ http://web1.0hosting.net/ and here there are already more than 70 interesting templates for the site (my favorites are those styled for Windows 3.11 and DOS templates) http://site.w10.site/ http://site.w10.site/ and this is my personal page. I write how NOT to make websites
