Middle school is hot garbage, like the author says. But in terms of the Supreme Court case, it is the correct call. Schools have (I forget the legal term) some rights of parents while the kid is on campus/in school which is appropriate. But outside of that, it's up to the kid's parents.
And I don't know the answer to this, but could the bullied kid's parents sue the influencer's parents for the activity of their child for emotional trauma or the like? Or do there need to be 'actual damages'?
- Suppafly 2y agoTrauma and the like are actual damages. things that aren't actual damages are when you claim things that theoretically could be damage without any basis in reality.
