Not sure how that would play out for cases that were declared a national cyber threat. But I agree with your statement. Government should cover for their recovery or hell bring them on board to work for the gov. Maybe that would require some kind of unrealistic clearance but it could work.

How is it the fault of those employees that they get caught in the political crossfire and now find themselves unemployed. After all, Kaspersky ia a very large company and the workers at the US office weren't the ones responsible for the issues Kaspersky has with the US.
