Downvoting ones discussion partner seems rude. b) It is possible that I'm being dumb: where in http://www.stanford.edu/group/hadlylab/pdfs/Barnoskyetal2012.pdf http://www.stanford.edu/group/hadlylab/pdfs/Barnoskyetal2012... is the quote? Edit: can't find it in the SFU press release either. Edit again: Ah. Quote one of the authors. Still doesn't seem worth getting mad about.
