Is that legal under GDPR?
- SSLy 2y agoNo, but the enforcement has been fairly toothless. Hopefully same team that designed DMA will make a stronger variant of GDPR.
- sumtechguy 2y agodont know. legal does not have much to do with it. You just dont need that much info to identify someone. https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/ https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/ I was wrong it is more like 20-30 bits you need. But those bits are fairly known how to get by the advertisers. The reality is most people do not known about or are resigned to it.
