This is a fairly recent development. As recently as 1995 (1 generation ago), the majority of Americans disapproved of interracial marriages.
- iftheshoefitss 2y agoI think this is still the case opinions regarding stuff like this isn’t just voiced in public anymore so it gives the appearance of shifting stats
- graemep 2y agoI think with things like this people lie to themselves as well. You might say "I am OK with it" but not be 100% comfortable but want to avoid thinking of yourself as racist.
