If Typescript counts as gradual typing, which i think it does, then many seem to be very happy using it. I have skimmed over more than 1000 blogs of HN, didn't see any posts about disliking Typescript, and many people use it. Doesn't Typescript offer seamless interoperability with vanilla Javascript?
