OpenAI can barely enter 1 market without tearing themselves apart in the process. If they started replacing literally everything I own, I would probably consider subsistence farming and letting Sam do whatever he wants with the corpse of our society. There's no value being part of an anarchist state run by an "effective altruist" benefactor, it's tantamount to eating from the hand of fascism. Thankfully I don't have to worry about that though, since OpenAI's dysfunction is pretty much the only innovation they deliver on these days. The concept of "AGI" will be what we laugh at on Saturday Night Live in 2028.
