But the digit 9 is larger than the digit 2, and the first 202 trillion digits of Pi aren't made up of just 0, 1, and 2??? Are you trying to be funny?

  It's bad wording. Not largest in magnitude, actually rather the factor of the smallest power of ten in the Digital expansion of the number Or, "rightmost known digit of pi after the decimal"
