Ask HN: What is your favorite blogging typeface?
Hi,
I am looking for a typeface to use for my new blog, and I am wondering what your favorite typefaces are. (Both for prose, and for code display).

- The-Old-Hacker 2y agoConsolas for code. It's the font that Sublime Text uses.
- malfist 2y agoI use jura ( https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Jura https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Jura ) since it's futuristic and very readable. See: https://www.jeromehollon.com/astro/2023-06-17-m101/ https://www.jeromehollon.com/astro/2023-06-17-m101/
- cpach 2y agoDo you want a serif or sans serif for the body text? For a serif, I think Crimson Pro is very nice. You can see it, and many others, on this site: https://beautifulwebtype.com/crimson-pro/ https://beautifulwebtype.com/crimson-pro/ For sans serif, I like Helvetica, but the original Helvetica might not be easily available outside of Apple’s operating systems.
- LorenzoGood 2y agoThanks! I do prefer sans-serif, since it feels more techy for some reason.

- vunderba 2y agoI've been experimenting with Libre Baskerville, but my go to in the past has always been Meriwether.
