Ford Mustang GTD Buyers Can Pay to Ban Anyone Else from Picking Their Color
- josephcsible 2y agoThis seems immoral. It reminds me of how some companies destroy perfectly good unsold product rather than letting it be donated to charity.
- BenjiWiebe 2y agoWhat happens if they get an aftermarket paint job to match someone's "exclusive" color? For that matter, it'd probably be cheaper than getting the exclusive color from Ford.
- johng 2y agoIt would destroy the resale value, which is likely one of the reasons someone would want this option anyway. A factory exclusive color will carry a premium. A repainted GTD will resell for a discount.
- arresin 2y agoAbsolutely genuine level marketing concept. I can imagine this appealing to people I know personally and have the money to do it.
