A lot of the discourse and debate on wealth is missing this fact:
Wealth != Long term stake in a speculative asset.
This is true, even if they are measured with the same unit (USD).
- lottin 2y agoAgreed. Real wealth consists of economic goods that provide utility when consumed or used. Financial wealth consists of claims on goods and services that may or may not be able to be exercised when the time comes. When discussing "wealth" care must be taken to distinguish between these two notions of wealth.
