Shows how European countries are committed to sucking up the US.
Funny thing is years ago the Britain's GCHQ studied the software on Huawei's equipment and give it a clean bill of health, yet the British govt still banned Huawei's equipment and asked Britains telco's to phase out the Huawei equipment.
So how do these countries be sure the alternative equipment will be safe? Is the GCHQ going to study they alternatives like they did Huawei's?

- DiogenesKynikos 2y agoThe British government admitted that its decision was based on pressure from the United States, rather than any evidence that Huawei was actually a threat.[0] The US threatened to cut the UK out of intelligence sharing unless it banned Huawei, so the British government caved. 0.
