Loved Palitana, and walking those stairs was a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience, but government action to force vegetarianism on people who don’t believe in it is just as bad as government action to force meat eating on people who don’t believe in it would be. Using religion to justify either action on those who aren’t members of the religion is even worse.
