I appreciate your insight! I certainly wouldn't want to over state my chemistry knowledge. I knew that wine contains methanol and that the 'head' has a higher proportion of methanol than the body. But I don't have the chemistry tools to in any way estimate the proportion of methanol in the 'head'.
