Impact of Price Controls on Medical Innovation
- bediger4000 2y agoThe Becker Friedman Institute for Economics finds that price controls will have bad effects, specifically, smaller R&D spending on new drugs. Libertarian-oriented economists find that anything other than laissez faire will cause bad effects. This isn't news in any sense of the word. It's just business (or ideology) as usual.
