Can we trust that it is designed to generate apps that utilise the least AWS chargeable resources to run?
No, we can't.
AWS can't provide this service if there is a perceivable conflict of interest.
- ec109685 2y agoHuh. That’s like saying they can’t provide their “well-architected” guides unless they can prove it’s the least chargeable (and obviously there are other ways to judge a system beyond price).
- xyzzy123 2y agoI am so torn on AWS best practices. We currently support about 4 generations of "best-practice" AWS account baselines.
- bdcravens 2y agoAWS has for years spun resources for you via various wizards and "service of services" and it's not uncommon that the resources are wildly cost-inefficient vs spinning up your own.
- butlike 2y agoThe AWS IAM/account creation and billing calculations have been a gordian knot by design for years.
