'Illegal' Cobra Mustang Paint Is Rare and Costs $26,000 per Gallon
- 486sx33 2y agoIt’s just “illegal” to spray without a ford rep present … or was It’s nothing to do with the EPA
- theandrewbailey 2y agoThis article keeps saying it's illegal, but doesn't say why. Is it full of drugs? Does it have a chemical the EPA doesn't like? Requiring a Ford employee present is a matter of company policy and things like NDAs, not law.
- floam 2y agoKinda. Not a controlled substance, but controlled. I think the 96 Mystic at least used controlled dyes that only Ford had license for from the federal reserve. Google it yourself because maybe it’s an urban legend.
