You can't touch that with TFT/LCDs.
Not to mention the current consumption of a segment LCD display is measured in microamps.
And the micros that drive segment LCD displays can easily be sub dollar.
- sandworm101 2y agoDurability and failure modes are also better with segment displays, which is why you still see them in military or aviation applications.
