To answer this question and many more, I would recommend abandoning modern religions and returning to traditional ones. You'll find ancient wisdom has answers to a lot of modern problems and questions, like the topic in the linked article. It's just really inefficient to slowly rediscover the answers to these age-old questions when there are already a lot of very good answers that very wise men suffered for a very long time ago.
I realize many moderns harbor dogmas that may prohibit them from engaging with anything that isn't completely secular, but all I can say is: try to be a bit more open-minded and re-engage with traditional wisdom. There's a reason it's survived the test of time, thousands of years. I'm biased toward Greek Orthodox.
- JohnFen 2y agoThat isn't very helpful with religions that expect you to believe their dogma, though. Religions tend to expect you to at least pretend to believe in their more supernatural aspects. In this respect, religions are exclusive rather than inclusive. Talking about philosophies rather than religious belief would allow more people to engage.

- itishappy 2y agoUnitarian Universalist offers an alternative for those who prefer a less orthodox belief system. Less "God says do this" more "let's discuss ethics and morality." I'm not a member, but I've had a chance to attend a few events and services. I tend to be quite critical of organized religion, but it was quite refreshing! https://www.uua.org/beliefs/what-we-believe/principles https://www.uua.org/beliefs/what-we-believe/principles
