Looks like string theory is doing more for math than connecting quantum and classical physics over the last 35 years
- itchyjunk 2y agoIf true, that's really great that it's contributing to math! I'd heard a lot of negative things about String theory in that it was a waste of time for everyone involved and resources used as well. Contribution to theoretical math is well worth it, in my opinion (I confess I might be biased).
