What's the difference? Nobody has more money than the government.
- Propelloni 2y agoIt's quite simple. For governments money is a means, not an end. For commercial entities it is usually the other way around.
- fallingknife 2y agoTrue. But I trust a man after money 1000x more than one after power.
- Propelloni 2y agoWhy? One is just as likely to sell you out than the other. And I refuse the insinuation that people working in governments are in it for the power.
- fallingknife 2y agoBecause you don't gain more money by someone else having less. Business is very much about maximizing win-win situations. Can't say the same for power.
- surgical_fire 2y agoMoney is power. If you think otherwise you are more of a fool than I can fathom.
- fallingknife 2y agoI am more of a fool than you can imagine. Also I know more than one man richer than the POTUS.
- DarkNova6 2y agoThere is at least vague democratic legitimacy and control. Companies are black boxes which are unelectable. Unless you are a mega asset-holder like Blackrock.
- exe34 2y agothe alignment problem.
