A video is often an introduction to a concept before you get to the docs. the docs ARE better for getting deep into the technology but someone has to tell you about it first.
- xena 2y agoYeah, the best videos follow the pattern of "What is this thing?" "Why does it need to exist?", How does it fit into the bigger picture?", and then finally "How do you actually use it?" This kind of stuff is essential for helping people skill up to the point that they can understand why they'd want to use a thing. If you are the one that makes them understand why they want to use a cache like Redis, then it's a lot easier for them to branch into the docs.
