- bediger4000 2y agoI'm not going to dispute this article's title, but its contents are somewhat wrong. For example: "the Von Neumann architecture: a design in which a computer is controlled by a sequence of steps" No. That's most definitely not the defining characteristic of von Neumann architecture, memory shared between code and data is. This dude seems to be confusing event-driven architecture, von Neumann machines and concurrency.
