Would it be possible to have a Linux kernel with all it's up-to-the-minute hardware support together with a BSD userland maybe via DarwinPorts?[1] For users who prefer a BSD userland to the one GNU offers, this would be magnificent. 1. e.g. Debian is doing the reverse: FreeBSD kernel and GNU userland.
