Simplify: Move Code into Database Functions
- tomrod 2y agoThis is a perennial discussion topic. My beef with the idea of putting application behavior into the database is purely CI/CD & Devops related -- developers seem to lose track of it.
- aabbcc1241 2y agoIf you had reason to switch the backend tech, you might also have reason to switch the database tech. It seems a viable alternative but not necessarily eliminating the problem discussed at the beginning.
