It's amazing that Europe has free E bike chargers. I've never seen one in the US. We barely have car chargers.

- ianburrell 2y agoFree e-bike charger is a plug. I don't think there is a standard for e-bike charging bricks (but USB-C 240W might help), and the charger is in photos. I'm guessing that the paid ones have tap to pay or use app to unlock. They also seem to be rugged. It is impressive that they are all over.
- solardev 2y agoIt's not just a plug, but the willingness of the facility to give you a safe place to park your bike, lock it, and charge it. Even simple bike racks are often hard to find in the US, as are publicly-accessible outlets, much less the two together. It's a cultural thing more than an infrastructure issue. We're heavily car-based and bikes are usually an afterthought.
