Algorithms can detect that of course and feed them even more of these videos, getting them even deeper into the rabbit hole. You can't blame it all on the algorithms either, if you build an algorithm that finds relationships like "a likes x, b likes x and y, recommend y to a", this is what you get in some pathological cases, along with pedophiles seeing family videos of kids in swimming pools.
