"No wonder academia is nowadays the exact opposite of free speech and the scientific method." I was interested by what I was reading until I came across this sentence which really put me off. I doubt that academia is the opposite of free speech and the scientific method. I am sure there is good criticism to be said about academia in your country but such broad statements serve no purpose and only signal ideology.
