They are refusing to leave Russian market and are actively cooperating with Russian government - see blocking VPNs few days ago. Russian market is much poorer and smaller. If they are refusing to leave this market, leaving EU market is ludicrous to even think about.
- bigstrat2003 2y agoThat does not change the fact that they have a choice.
- kibwen 2y agoCompanies, including Apple, are sociopathic profit-maximizers. There is no choice when one of the choices is "make less money".
- TheLoafOfBread 2y agoIf you willingly take no profit (Leaving market) over less profit (Losing control over AppStore in the market) then you can be almost sure that shareholders are going to sue you and I would bet shareholders would win such lawsuit. So no Apple doesn't have this choice.
