About 3 years ago I wrote a web app to make browsing and categorizing my YouTube subscriptions easier. I can, for example, select the music category and see all videos posted by channels I have marked as music. Really simple stuff backed by a sqlite db. I spent a total of probably 20 hours on it and use it 5/7 days a week.
