You jump to an extreme form of accountability when frankly any accountability at all would be a step wise improvement. Time and time again the populous demonstrates it does not care about individually broken promises because we have aggregated power and choice far too much. We often vote on representatives, but can't vote on individual issues, and even then binary, non-ranked voting further removed our individual power.
