While there is a plethora of Python back-testing and trading platforms, I was frustrated with many of them for a variety of reasons and ended up creating my own. This now drives the back-end of my website https://sugradh.com https://sugradh.com. Not sure if this is what you have in mind but I have spent more time(years) doing this than I should have. But when something goes wrong or does not work I know where to look and fix it.
