Windows are the worst. I'm constantly telling my mom to lock the windows in winter. They are meant to be locked. If not you can feel the heat escaping it's so cold next to the window. One was even up a few mm! Mom grew up on a farm in the 1950s in a big farm house that thing leaked air. It was so cold they used to put a heated brick in their beds to warm it before bedtime.
