My bill is about two thirds of what it would be otherwise (since I cannot install solar panels or batteries it's the only way to have any advantage). I've automated it so it picks up if the prices goes below a certain set amount, though that's not for everyone. Btw my parents have been doing off hour washing since the nineties (we've had double meters for a long time). It's nothing new.
