I use a $8 programmable plug timer switch off Aliexpress to do exactly that. But it's only useful when I live alone. When a girlfriend is living in, messing with hot water supply is an absolute no-no!
- grecy 2y agoDo you have a link please? I've only seen the ones that plugin to a regular outlet - the hot water heater is wired directly into the main house panel
- EVa5I7bHFq9mnYK 2y agoYes, my heater plugs into a regular outlet. If you don't have one, that of course is impossible. I think it comes down to heater size and voltage - mine is only 60 liters and 220V so can use regular wiring and amperage.
