If anything, my wording was dumb :) The more usual term is "radical centrism" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radical_centrism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radical_centrism). I would say someone like Richard Hanana or rationalists like Scott Alexander have a centrism that is much more radical than someone who merely doesn't have strong political opinions.
