Simple - Kanban when implemented properly in teams works brilliantly, Scrum when implemented properly in teams works "ok" and then tends towards Kanban as the team strives to modify it to work better. Solution - always start with Kanban
- OutOfHere 2y agoKanban is not exactly difficult to implement properly; it just works. Contrast it with Scrum that is near impossible to implement properly.
- darreninthenet 2y agoIn my experience shit managers have a really hard time understanding and appreciating the effectiveness of WIP Limits and it creates pressure on teams to break them, at which point Kanban snaps in terms of both predictability and delivery.
- skydhash 2y agoAnything will snap in that case. Resources are finite, increasing workload past the team limit is a bad idea whatever the methodology.
