- accrual 2y agoPersonally I'd like dyes to be prohibited... I don't want any more Red 40 in my foods. I don't care if my cherry-flavored whatever isn't bright red, I want it to be safe.
- hollerith 2y agoHuh, it has been many years since any artificial color has been listed as an ingredient in anything I might otherwise consider eating. (US resident here.)
- accrual 2y agoFor sure! I'm eating simpler and more whole foods as well, but every once in a while I'll have something artificial as a treat. Or for example I briefly used these raspberry lemonade water flavor drops from Target, but I switched to a "Real Lemon" brand flavor and it tastes better and has no dye! :)
- google234123 2y agoDoes that include a bananas, strawberries, or blueberries? Where do you think their colors come from ;) https://jameskennedymonash.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/ingredients-of-an-all-natural-banana/ https://jameskennedymonash.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/ingredie...

- greenbit 2y agoWhen a 10 year old can notice that certain sodas induce a nasty stomach ache, and that the thing all of those had in common was BVO, and that ones without it did not .. makes you wonder why BVO was ever considered safe. (I've been actively avoiding the stuff since before high school)
