Does anyone works at Amazon? My money was stollen in the marketplace
I bought something though the amazon.de's marketplace a while ago.
After not receiving the package, I contacted the seller who told me they would send another one.
After some back and forth, through the Amazon messaging system, they stopped responding.
I contacted Amazon's support who told me they won't do anything about it because it's been 90 days. The reply I got was basically: "This rarely happens in our marketplace. Knowing this is the exception, I hope you (me) are ok with it."
The order was ~70€. It's not about the amount, but about the fact that Amazon allows theft to happen without providing any proper support and hide behind a 90-day rule.

So, is there anyone around here that works at Amazon that could help me out?
Or maybe someone who went through the same thing and has some advice on how to proceed?

- byoung2 2y agoNot sure what payment method you used, but you might try pursuing a claim with the payment company. Credit cards can usually do disputes within 6 months.
- xcubic 2y agoThis is not a bad idea but the payment was done through Revolut. I tried, we'll see what happens.
- solardev 2y agoIs there a consumer protection agency in your country? Or a similar regulator? Or the equivalent of small claims court? If I were you, I'd never order anything off the internet without credit card chargeback protection. Especially from a random marketplace. Amazon's marketplace is full of counterfeits and such.
